Adding songs from other programs

If you have MP3 files from another program, you can add references to these songs to your library so you can play them easily.

Drag the file, folder, or disk where the songs are located to the library in the source list in the iTunes window. If you drag a folder or disk, all the audio files it contains will be added.

The files are not moved from their original location.
